INDUSTRIAL
The
experience has been built up during approx. 20 years of design. In the field of
RF power electronics, the design of 27 Mhz generators using Transistors and RF
Power FET's are a core activity.
Generators of 25 Watts, 100 Watts, 200 Watts, 500 Watts, 1kWatt and 2kWatt have
been designed and produced.
The
smallest powers are used for the wireless testing of fluorescent tubes in the
lamp manufacturing industries all over the world, the larger generators are used
for applications as can be found in the page COMPANY
DETAILS.
Because the design of the application and applicators is just as important as
the design of the generator (a fact that is not always recognized), HFDA also
has specialized in the design and production of automatic tuners and (tuned)
applicators.
In the field of high-power RF technology, e.g. vacuum-drying, powers of more
than 25 kWatts are used to supply the evaporation energy. For this field, HFDA
has designed automatic tuners for this power level and test equipment to monitor
the drying process. Also in the field of heating conductive liquids and
materials (e.g. salt foods, weak-acids, zeolite synthesis materials and many
others) HFDA designed special RF magnetic applicators that are able to heat the
material very homogeneous and with a very high efficiency.
For
the sterilization of foods, capacitive (dielectric) and RF magnetic applicators
have been designed.
For
the synthesis of larger zeolite crystals in micro-gravity environments,
microwave ovens for space-applications have been realized.
In
the field of communications, miniaturization becomes more and more important.
Therefore, the vast majority of the designs has been done in 0805 and 0603 SMD
technology.
