High Frequency Design Andalucia is located on the beautiful Costa del Sol, near Malaga, in the mid-south of Spain.

The core activities have always been and still are the design and production of high frequency and microwave related industrial electronics.  This industrial sector can be split in two major parts, COMMUNICATIONS and HIGH FREQUENCY or MICROWAVE ENERGY. We have built vast experience in these fields of industrial electronics. These technologies are rapidly emerging and can be used in many fields in the industry. A few examples....

HFDA specializes in the design of equipment and technologies for the applications above. We have our own model shop for the production of engineering models and prototypes in close co-operation with the industry in Spain and other parts of Europe.

In addition to the design of industrial RF and Microwave power electronics, we also design RF and Microwave electronics for use in the field of communications technology. This enables a spin-off of experience from one technology to the other. Among many others, one example is a new standard in the field of Plastic Welding - the use of 50 ohms as standard impedance. This is, and always has been a standard in communications technology and as a result has always been normal practice and experience in our company.
